Nate Hope | Owner, General Contractor
Nathan Hope is a licensed and insured general contractor based in Lehi, Utah with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.
New homes, basements, additions, ADUs, remodels — Nate loves his job and takes pride in his work. His friendly personality, attention to detail, and solid work ethic have resulted in many satisfied customers, and we HOPE to have you become one of them!
Education and Experience
Originally from southern California, Nate moved to Idaho after high school to study Construction Management at BYU–I. During his time there, Nate worked for a residential general contractor doing finish-carpentry work.
Upon graduating college, Nate moved to Arizona to work as a field engineer for a large commercial construction company called Hensel Phelps. The job subsequently took him back home to California as the company began work on a two-year, multi-million-dollar retirement community project.
At the completion of that project in 2007, Nate moved to Utah to work for Interior Construction Specialists, ICS, as a project engineer.
Hope Custom Building
Nate found himself in awe of the beautiful outdoors in Utah, so it wasn’t a hard decision to make his home here. In 2009, he became a licensed general contractor in the state of Utah and started his own company, Hope Custom Building.
A year later, Nate met his wife, Nicole. They were married in 2011, and Nicole quickly jumped on board as Hope Custom Building's graphic designer and biggest cheerleader.
Nate’s pastimes include wrestling and drumming. Though he refers to his “glory days” with fondness, he loves his simple and steady life as a husband to Nicole and as a father to their two little girls. Running his own construction company keeps him busy, but Nate feels blessed to be able to provide for his family while doing work that he's proud of and enjoys.
