This basement in Lehi became the perfect mother-in-law living apartment. Light blue walls with white trim provided a pretty base for the French countryside/beach-feel the homeowners were going for. We finished the bathroom with modern porcelain tile floors, a garden-style tub, and cultured marble shower surround and countertop. Laminate flooring was a great choice for the craft room, which was built with a pony wall against the foundation and completed with an MDF shelf on top. The finished basement has since been beautifully decorated by the mother-in-law herself!
