The goal of this basement finish in Salt Lake City was to turn the homeowner’s vision of a "Tuscan wine cellar"-style basement into a reality. Multiple archways covered in paver-look tiles provided a great foundation for this look.
The homeowners' young adult children would be living in the basement for a while, so adding the kitchenette was a must. We used dark-stained, classic, raised-panel knotty alder cabinets and chiseled-edge granite counter tops to complete the look in the kitchenette and bathroom.
The result? The DeFriezes now have their very own beautiful Tuscan basement that adds function and value to their home!
